How to make a question sentence?

For this question, it is easy to answer.

You can just put [か（Ka）] at the end of 名詞文（めいしぶん）,

So, if you want to make the sentence

[Are you a Student?]

at first you can make a sentence, [You are a Student],

Which is

「あなたは　がくせいです。」

あなた＝You. がくせい＝Student

and then you can put [か（Ka）]

at the end of this sentence.

so,

[あなたは　がくせいですか？]

means [Are you a Student?]

so, we can try to practice little bit more!

How to Answer the question?

Now if you want to answer these question, Let’s think how to answer it?

For example the question [Are you a Student?]

Your answer will be [Yes or No]

So, Let’s see how to answer Yes and No in Japanese.

Answer [Yes]

If you want to answer [Yes] for the question,

You can say [はい。] or [はい、そうです。] in general and formal situation.

But for your close friend, you can answer [うん。]　or Just nadded.

はい(Hai) means [Yes]

はい、そうです（Hai, Soudesu）means [Yes, it is or Yes exactly].

うん（Un), you can use for your friend. means like [Yap or Yeah!]

So, if someone ask you,

あなたは　がくせいですか？

and if you want to answer [Yes]

You can say [はい！]

so how to answer NO? Let’s see that!

Answer [No]

If you want to answer [No] for the question,

you can say [いいえ。] or [いいえ、そうじゃありません。] in general and formal situation.

But for your close friend, you can say [うううん] with shaking your head.

いいえ（IIE）means [No]

いいえ、そうじゃありません。(IIE SouJaArimasen)　means [No it’s not]

うううん（UUUN）means like [Nope]

so if someone ask you

あなたは　にほんじん　ですか？

And you want to answer.

you can say [いいえ、そうじゃありません] or [いいえ] or [うううん]
